💡 Tips for Andhra Pradesh Pilgrims
  • Many AP pilgrims combine Medaram Jatara with Bhadrachalam Sri Rama Temple (120 km) — plan 2 days if visiting both.
  • Coastal AP devotees from Guntur, Krishna, and Prakasam districts often organize group pilgrimages via local temples and bhajan mandalis.
  • During Jatara, food stalls near Medaram serve both Telugu and AP coastal cuisines — you'll find familiar food.
  • Start from Vijayawada by midnight or early morning to reach Medaram by dawn.
  • Carry jaggery (bellam) for Bangaram offering from Vijayawada — better quality and cheaper than at the venue.
